redtapetry operates this website and provides specialised training courses focused on live production decks and control rooms. These courses cover multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and professional management of television and streaming productions. By accessing or using this site and enrolling in any course, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the site or register for courses. These terms form a binding contract under the laws of the United Kingdom.
Eligibility and permitted use
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts to use this site or enrol in courses. Access is permitted only for personal or professional development related to live production skills. You may not use the materials for commercial resale, redistribution, or any purpose outside the scope of the purchased course. Course content is licensed for your individual use only during the enrolment period.
Prohibited conduct
You must not attempt to copy, record, or distribute course videos, slides, or practical exercises. Hacking, scraping, or interfering with site functionality is forbidden. You must not post offensive, defamatory, or unlawful material in any course submissions or communications with instructors. Violations may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
Accounts, submissions, or user content
When you create an account or submit coursework, portfolios, or feedback, you grant redtapetry a non-exclusive licence to use that material for delivering and improving the courses. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of your submissions. Accounts may be suspended if login details are shared or misused. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected].
Ownership of site content, trademarks, and permitted limited use
All course materials, website text, graphics, and branding remain the exclusive property of redtapetry or its licensors. You may download materials solely for personal study during your course. No trademark or copyright is transferred. Any permitted limited use, such as quoting short excerpts for review purposes, must include clear attribution and must not imply endorsement.
Third-party services and links
The site may reference third-party platforms used for video hosting, payment processing, or supplementary resources. redtapetry does not control or endorse these services and accepts no liability for their performance, privacy practices, or content. You should review the terms of any third-party service before use.
Availability, changes, suspension, and termination
Course availability and site access are provided on an as-is basis. redtapetry may suspend or terminate access for maintenance, updates, or breach of these terms. Course schedules may change with reasonable notice. Refunds are available only in accordance with the separate refund policy provided at enrolment. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.
Disclaimers that remain subject to mandatory consumer law
While every effort is made to ensure course content is accurate and up to date, redtapetry does not warrant that materials will meet every individual need or guarantee specific career outcomes. Practical skills depend on your own practice and equipment. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other non-excludable right under UK consumer law.
Proportionate limitation of liability
Subject to the above, the total liability of redtapetry for any claim arising from use of the site or courses shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. This limit applies to direct losses only and does not cover indirect or consequential damages where permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify redtapetry against reasonable losses, claims, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of course materials, or infringement of third-party rights through your submissions.
Governing law, courts, and consumer dispute rights
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts. You retain all rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK legislation. Alternative dispute resolution options, including through the European Consumer Centre where relevant, remain available.
Severability, waiver, changes, contact route, and last-updated date
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms continue in full force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. redtapetry may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
